Case study · Home & furniture
Nearly tripling online revenue for a premium furniture brand
01
The challenge
Atlas & Oak sells handcrafted solid-wood furniture with an average order value close to R5,000. Their previous agency treated the account like a fast-fashion store: broad prospecting, a single catalogue campaign and very little creative variety.
Spend was rising, but return on ad spend had flattened at 2.1x and the team was losing confidence in paid media as a growth channel. With a long consideration cycle — most customers visited the site four or more times before buying — the brand needed a strategy that nurtured interest rather than chasing a single click.
02
Our approach
Rebuilt tracking from the ground up
Implemented the Meta Conversions API and Google enhanced conversions, recovering roughly 22% of purchases that weren’t being attributed.
Restructured around the buying journey
Split budgets across inspiration, consideration and conversion, with room-specific audiences and catalogue sets for living, dining and bedroom.
Shot creative that sells craftsmanship
Produced a library of 40+ assets — workshop footage, styled room shots and real customer homes — refreshed every two weeks.
Moved Google to a feed-first strategy
Rewrote product titles and imagery in the feed, then layered Performance Max with brand and Shopping campaigns to protect high-intent search.
03
The results
By month six, paid channels were generating R1.1m in monthly revenue at a 5.8x blended ROAS. Cost per acquisition fell 37% while average order value rose, as sharper targeting brought in customers furnishing whole rooms rather than buying single pieces.
“Vantage didn’t just run our ads — they understood how our customers actually shop. Within a quarter we’d stopped asking whether paid media works and started asking how fast we could scale it.”
